About Youtilities
Youtilities is a collection of 46 free tools that run entirely in your browser: finance calculators, JSON and developer utilities, and typing practice. There is no sign-up, no upload, and no limit on how often you use them.
Why it exists
Most online calculators and converters send your data to a server, bury the answer under pop-ups, or stop at a single number. We wanted the opposite: paste or type, see the result instantly, understand how it was worked out, and keep what you were doing when you come back.
How the numbers are checked
Every financial formula is covered by automated tests that compare it with published reference values, for example the standard EMI and amortization formulas used by banks, SIP figures from fund calculators, and compound interest tables. Results are computed at full precision and only rounded for display. Still, they are estimates for planning; your lender or fund will apply its own rounding, fees and dates.
Privacy
Everything is computed on your device. Inputs you enter are kept in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off, and are never sent to us. See the privacy page for how ads work.
Who makes it
Youtilities is built and maintained by an independent software engineer. It is funded by the ads shown next to the tools, which is what keeps it free. If a tool is wrong or you need one that does not exist yet, get in touch.
