8 Weeks From Today

What date is 8 weeks from today? The exact date, 56 days ahead, always on the same weekday as today.

8 weeks is exactly 56 days, so the date below always falls on the same weekday as today. Doctors, schools and employers often give timelines in weeks: a 8-week recovery, notice period, course or delivery estimate. Change the start date to count from an appointment or a joining date instead.

Adding days to a date

Start from any date and add or subtract days, weeks, months, years, or working days. The result shows the full date and the weekday. Adding months keeps the day of the month where possible: 31 January plus one month is the last day of February.

Working days

Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays but not public holidays. "10 working days from today" is the usual phrasing for refunds, deliveries and official replies; if a holiday falls in between, add one more day.

Typical questions

What date is 90 days from today (visa stays, return windows), 30 days from an invoice (payment terms), 6 months from a date (probation, warranties), 2 weeks before a deadline, and the date 18 years after a birth date.

Counting backwards

Switch to subtract to find a date in the past: when was 45 days ago, or what date is 3 months before an event. The quick chips fill in common day counts.

Does the start day count?

No. Adding 1 day to Monday gives Tuesday, so 30 days from 1 June is 1 July. This is how most deadlines, return windows and visa stays are counted. If your rule says to count the start day as day 1 (some leave and medical timelines do), take one day off the result, or use the days-between calculator with inclusive counting to check.

Months are not 30 days

"3 months from today" and "90 days from today" can land up to three days apart, because months have 28 to 31 days. Contracts, EMIs and subscriptions usually count in calendar months; visas, trials and legal notices often count in days. Use the unit your document uses: pick months or days from the dropdown next to the amount.
